The Lohmann family is already celebrating Cancun!

November 11th, Cancun-Mexico.

The most awaited International Event for egg producers, the FDM Lohmann Tierzucht 2019, commenced today in Cancun-Mexico, reaching its full capacity with a resounding success, doubling the number of assistants to the previous event.

Positioned as the most expected event for the global egg producing industry, the 2019 edition has started off with a resounding success, with more than 400 assistants that have travelled to Cancun-Mexico from 45 different countries. At this macro event, more than 25 languages can be heard and more than 100 companies are present.

This event gathers distributors, collaborators and friends of the sixty-year old Lohmann family in Mexico, together with the most representative egg producers from around the world.

On the occasion of its 60th Anniversary and coinciding with the 57th Franchise Distributor’s Reunion, Lohmann Tierzucht is organizing an international macro event in Cancun from November 9th to 14th, gathering the main representatives from the global egg producing industry.

The Technical Program created by the organization of this macro event is characterized by the presence of world-renowned lecturers that talk to the assistants about the past and present of the poultry business.

The excellent technical program scheduled for today is based on the moto “Look into the past and experience the future with us”.

The Technical Program started today, Monday, November 11th, with the participation of Mr. Juan Manuel Gutiérrez Martínez, President of the Board of Directors of the National Union of Mexican Poultry Producers, a leading figure among the Mexican poultry producers. Later on, the technical session followed the moto «Look into the past and experience the future with us».

Take a peek into the future with Mrs. Romina Hellmich, a PhD student specialized in Reproductive Biotechnology at TU Munich, that has participated in the first block of the fabulous technical program of the Lohmann macro event.

During her presentation, “Gene Editing: Bright Future for Poultry Breeding”, the assistants have discovered how cutting-edge technology will shape the next generation of breeders.
